Professor Bennett was born in Miami, Florida, in 1937. He received his B.A. in 1958 from St. Bernard’s College, his M.A. in 1962 from Barry College, and his J.D., with honors in 1967 from the University of Florida. Professor Bennett was a member of the faculty of the University of Florida College of Law from 1968 until his death in 1999.
