Graduated with a B.S. from Florida State University and J.D. from Stetson University, College of Law. Judge Schaeffer is a Circuit Court Judge, Sixth Judicial Circuit, 1982 to present. She is the recipient of many awards throughout her career. Chief Judge David A. Demers, of the Sixth Judicial Circuit, nominated Judge Schaeffer, sighting her dedication to the improvement of the criminal justice system.
